Karl-Heinrich Müller laid the foundation stone in 1958 when he founded Industrie Immobilien Müller GmbH in Düsseldorf. The company received more power when the international Atis Real group of companies was founded in 2001, which enabled global advice and professional real estate services on the most important European real estate markets. Only three years later, the financial services provider BNP Paribas joined as a major shareholder. This set the course for stability and further growth. The logical consequence of this development was that we renamed BNP Paribas Real Estate. Today we are one of the best-known and strongest brands in the real estate industry, although our special corporate culture is still shaped by its medium-sized beginnings.
