Born into a humble farmer family in India, Mohammed Abdullah Shaikh never gave up seeking the best life for him and his family. His colossal dreams and an insatiable attitude marked his entry into the demanding marble industry and there was no turning back.
Moving to Italy in 1990, Mohammed Abdullah Shaikh was struck by the wonders of natural stone in the marble quarries of Carrara. Eventually, he established Jabal Al Toor in Sharjah in 2008, an offshoot of many marble businesess that he nurtures globally. Headquartered in Carrara, Italy, the company’s global presence extends to Spain, India, China, Hong Kong and United Arab Emirates.
