The First Affiliated Hospital of Henan University of Traditional Chinese Medicine (Henan Children's Hospital of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine, Henan Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine Rehabilitation Hospital) is a three-level A Chinese medicine hospital integrating medical treatment, teaching, scientific research, prevention, health care, and rehabilitation. It is a national TCM clinical research base, a national TCM international cooperation and exchange base, and a national TCM resident standardized training base.
The hospital was founded in 1953 as a traditional Chinese medicine clinic for military and political organs of the Henan Provincial People's Government. It later merged with the Kaifeng First Chinese and Western United Hospital to form the Henan Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine. In 1956, it moved to the current location of Zhengzhou City with the Henan Provincial Government. In 1959, it belonged to Henan University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and was renamed as the Affiliated Hospital of Henan University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. The clinical departments began to take shape. In 1988, it was renamed "The First Affiliated Hospital of Henan University of Traditional Chinese Medicine". In 2016, it was renamed with the university and the name of the hospital was changed to "The First Affiliated Hospital of Henan University of Traditional Chinese Medicine".
